Rich currently works for America’s feeding programs adjudicating appeals of retailers’ sanctions. He previously worked at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Rich’s writing, including crosswords he constructed, has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Miami Herald, The Atlantic, the Denver Post, and the Anchorage Daily News.
Rich also enjoys volleyball, complex board games, running, and culinary experimentation. Rich lives in Berkeley with his wife, two children, cats Sammie and Jasper, and Hagrid the dog.
